Rafting in the Ardèche: a safe adrenaline-fuelled activity

Rafting in the Ardèche is an activity best enjoyed when water levels permit, typically in spring or autumn. Indeed, our beautiful Ardèche river can be a little unpredictable and is subject to the vagaries of rising water levels… When conditions allow, it’s a safe activity to enjoy as a family (for children aged 5 and over) or in a group, accompanied by a state-certified guide.

Rafting is done in a group in an inflatable, unsinkable boat. A state-certified guide is at the back of the boat to accompany you and ensure your safety.
Everyone on board is equipped with a single-bladed paddle to help propel the raft forward, the aim being to navigate the Ardèche together whilst following your guide’s instructions.
Fun and friendly, rafting on the Ardèche is suitable for everyone. Activity subject to booking and water levels.
