Our land along the river is well wooded… This requires good preparation of the land and regular maintenance. All this is for your safety and for the good health of the trees.
Tree pruning
Every year we call on Louis, a tree surgeon and tree pruning manager, who carries out an assessment. Pruning, maintenance and felling are all on the agenda.
Many tired robinia trees fell this winter. Louis felled them, then Ugo cleared away and cut up what was left on the ground, a big job that took him all winter.
A major project with the forestry commission is due to begin in February to fell the poplar trees, which are old and have been weakened by severe droughts.
Preparing the land requires a significant investment, both financial and human… We don’t have much time to rest.
But we are happy to welcome our guests to this green and unspoilt location.
